MarkeTRAC
MarkeTRAC is designed specifically to help public television stations obtain local underwriting
through sophisticated ratings research tools and presentation-ready audience profiles.
Following each of the four major sweeps periods, MarkeTRAC clients receive ratings and
demographic information on every show aired by the station during the sweep. The MarketTRAC software
walks the user through the processes of (1) finding an audience to meet an underwriter’s needs and
(2) building a one sheet to help present that audience to a potential underwritier. These "one sheets"
display ratings, share, cume, and gross ratings points. Easy-to-read bar charts show the gender and age
of each show's viewing audience.
MarkeTRAC provides PTV clients with information most requested by advertising agencies. These include
age/ gender splits that cover the demographic groups. In addition, as part of the MarkeTRAC service,
clients are invited to call TRAC and receive telephone consultation that can help them consummate a
local underwriting partnership.
